Excerpts from an AI Strategy Expert

“I think it’s fair to say that AI will change a lot of the social fabric that we are used to when it comes to the labour market, but also social interactions between people. So, in a way, I do think we will certainly need a new social contract in our societies to think about how we organize our life… but obviously there’s going to be an adjustment costs and a lot of political debate to find the right path here”

“One of the biggest concerns for most companies if [they] want to use LLMs has been around how do [they], as a company, deploy [AI] in a safe way so that [they can be] sure [their] data stays secure. Deployment in the private cloud has evolved as an option but data will still be exchanged via the model API. That’s why open source models are important so that companies can deploy on-premises depending on [their] data security and privacy needs.”

“For every model generation so far [it has been apparent] that additional context greatly improves output quality. So why is that relevant? If you just run a web search, the specific context is usually very generic. If you provide data to summarize yourself, it goes directly into the model context.”
