AI Productivity Workshop for Teams

Generative AI affects users differently, and the factors that affect use don’t always relate to AI skills. In this short workshop, we bring in a partner speaker to start by discussing productivity above all else, then our team covers the prompts that produce optimal output and the workflows that make the gains repeatable across a team.

  • Get better output from the same tools.
  • Build workflows that span multiple tools.
  • Spread the technique across the whole team.
  • Fit the session into a single morning.

A Short Session on Getting More From AI

Generative AI and Productivity is our most compact workshop, designed to fit a busy team’s calendar. In one to two hours, we outline the importance of generative AI tools in the workplace and how to maximize your team’s productivity, covering how to achieve optimal AI outputs with specialized prompts, how to build AI workflows using one or more AI tools, and how to be productive in your AI implementation. It runs online or in person.

Workshop at a Glance

  • Format: Online or in person.
  • Duration: 1-2 hours.
  • Who it is for: Teams already using generative AI unevenly, and managers wanting a short session with immediate application.
  • What you receive: A facilitated session on specialized prompting, AI workflows across one or more tools, and productive implementation.
  • Booking: Scheduled with your team after an initial call.

What Is the Generative AI and Productivity Workshop?

The session begins with how to be productive in your day-to-day work and in an AI implementation. It then moves into why generative AI matters in the workplace and discusses how to create specialized prompts: how to construct them, what to include, and how to get optimal output.

Content is catered to your industry wherever possible, and at one to two hours, the workshop is deliberately short enough to run without clearing a full day.

What You Will Learn

  • Construct specialized prompts that produce optimal output.
  • Diagnose why a weak AI result came out weak.
  • Build an AI workflow using one or more tools.
  • Identify the tasks where AI saves the most time.
  • Implement AI in your team’s routine without disrupting it.
  • Pass a working method to colleagues who weren’t in the room.

What Is Included

  • Facilitated session: One to two hours led by a CAIAI instructor and a partner speaker, online or at your premises.
  • Notes package: A notes package for your learners to reference following the engagement. This ensures your team aren’t scrambling to write down workshop takeaways or letting content slip through the cracks.
  • Specialized prompting: The prompt construction methods that lift output quality.
  • Workflow building: How to combine one or more AI tools into a repeatable process.
  • Industry examples: Examples drawn from your sector wherever possible.

Teams Who Got More Out of the Same Tools

All of our engagements encompass ethical, safe, and effective use; productivity is a fantastic add-on and a valuable metric to consider in all AI deployments.

Take a look at some of our engagements below, and explore how your organization could benefit
from a workshop engagement or a broader AI literacy initiative.

  • University of the Fraser Valley: Increased work production through informed use of generative AI, with prompting guidance producing more professional and accurate results for office tasks.
  • ZVS Land Management: Social posts, ads and email campaigns that used to take hours now take a fraction of the time.
  • Abbotsford Executive Association: A short introductory session for executives across manufacturing, agriculture, technology and professional services.
