Plenty of teams use AI one prompt at a time, which helps individuals but is hard to manage at scale; quality can vary, workflows stop when they’re not attended to, and inconsistent prompts yield inconsistent results. This workshop covers the tools that turn those one-off results into automations, and in the longer formats we’ll help your team build theirs.
Generative AI and Automation is our workshop for teams ready to stop doing the same task by hand. We map out the ethical and security implications of AI, work through the various types of prompts and prompt engineering, and then outline a suite of AI and automation tools that help save time and money. It runs for one and a half to four hours, online or in person, and at the longer end, the session includes hands-on support to set up your team’s own automations.
The session begins by mapping the ethical and security implications of AI, because automation raises the stakes on both. A prompt someone runs by hand gets read before it’s used. An automation runs unattended, at volume, on whatever data it’s pointed at, so we need to answer the questions about what goes in and who checks what comes out first.
From there we work through the various types of prompts and prompt engineering. Automation demands more precision than casual use does: a prompt that produces a good result three times out of four is fine when a person is watching and unacceptable when it’s running fifty times a day. We then outline a suite of AI and automation tools and show where each one works best.
The session length changes what you get. At the shorter end, it’s a thorough grounding in the tools and the methods. At longer durations, it includes hands-on help setting up your team’s own automations, so people leave with something running rather than something planned. Sessions are catered to your industry wherever possible.
We have helped many organizations in their AI learning efforts, varying from single-day to multi-workshop engagements.

from a workshop engagement or a broader AI literacy initiative.
Tell us which tasks are eating your team’s week, and we’ll agree scope, length and format on a short call before anything is booked.
Our mission is to help Canadians learn, adapt and succeed with AI. Succeeding with it usually means the work gets lighter rather than louder – fewer repetitive hours, spent on the parts of the job that need a person.
