AI in the Workplace Workshop

Generic AI learning tends to leave a team impressed but makes it hard to act on without specific examples, resources, or methodologies. This workshop encompasses these needs and works through AI tools, safe use and prompting against the actual work of your industry, with time set aside to practise.

  • Apply prompting methods to your team’s tasks.
  • Map a first AI workflow for your business.
  • Understand the ethical and security limits.
  • Leave with practice, not just awareness.

Practical AI Training, Built Around Your Industry

AI in the Workplace: Learn, Adapt and Succeed with AI in Your Industry is our applied session for teams that want to leave with actionable skills. It identifies popular, useful AI tools; covers their ethical and security implications; teaches high-level prompting methods; and dedicates time to applying those methods with your team and to the AI workflow development process. It runs online or in person for two to four hours.

Workshop at a Glance

  • Format: Online or in person.
  • Duration: 2-4 hours.
  • Who it is for: Teams and departments that want applied AI skills tied to their own industry and daily tasks.
  • What you receive: A facilitated session catered to your industry, including hands-on prompting practice with your team and an introduction to AI workflow development.
  • Booking: Scheduled with your team after an initial call, with the length set to suit the group.

What Is the AI in the Workplace Workshop?

The session begins by identifying popular, useful AI tools and outlining their ethical and security implications. From there the workshop moves into high-level prompting methods, and then into the part that distinguishes it: dedicated time working with your team to apply those methods. People bring forward tasks they do routinely, and we work together to determine how AI can assist.

The final stretch introduces AI workflow development and explains how several tools and steps chain together into an effective and repeatable process. Content is catered to your industry wherever possible, and the two-to-four-hour range is set with you, based on group size and how much practice time the team needs.

What You Will Learn

  • Identify which AI tools fit your industry and team.
  • Apply high-level prompting methods to your own tasks.
  • Judge the ethical and security implications of a proposed AI use.
  • Describe how an AI workflow is put together.
  • Refine a weak AI output instead of abandoning it.
  • Share a working prompt with a colleague so they can reuse it.

What Is Included

  • Facilitated session: Two to four hours led by a CAIAI instructor, online or at your premises.
  • Notes package: A notes package for your learners to reference following the engagement. This ensures your team aren’t scrambling to write down workshop takeaways or letting content slip through the cracks.
  • Industry examples: Tools, examples and use cases catered to your sector wherever possible.
  • Hands-on practice time: Dedicated time applying prompting methods to your team’s real work.
  • Workflow development introduction: A walkthrough of how AI workflows are built and where they fit.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help Canadians learn, adapt and succeed with AI. Training that sits inside the work people already do is the most direct version of that: the same tasks, done with more skill, by a team that understands what it is using.
