Adapting to AI in Industry: Implementing AI Ethically, Safely and Effectively offers a deeper look at the implications of AI adoption and provides organizations with a framework for successful AI implementation: the ETPIA framework (Exploration, Testing, Policy, Implementation, and Adoption).
Organizations can choose between 2.5 and 4 hours and learn about AI ethics, security, prompt engineering, types of machine learning, AI workflow development, practical applications, customizing consumer-facing AI models, and the ETPIA framework. It’s built for managers, decision-makers, changemakers and champions within an organization, and it runs online or in person.
The session covers more technical ground than our shorter workshops. Alongside ethics, security, and prompt engineering, it covers types of machine learning, AI workflow development, practical applications of AI tools, and how consumer-facing AI models can be customized for an organization’s purposes. This level of education ensures the people approving AI decisions understand what they’re approving.
The workshop centres on the ETPIA framework: Exploration, Testing, Policy, Implementation, and Adoption. It gives an organization an order to follow and fully maps out what successful AI adoption requires.
We have worked with commercial maintenance and land management firms, tourism and conservation organizations, trade associations and professional bodies on the move from experimenting with AI to adopting it deliberately. In most cases, the organization already had people using AI tools informally; what was missing was an agreed method, a policy position, and someone senior able to say which use cases came first.
